I loved loved loved Fall. I dreamt about it for a week afterwards. Which is possibly why sink fell a little short of my expectations. The writing was still awesome, humour good and story line interesting - don't get me wrong - but sometimes the storyline seemed forced. Like when she threw the dagger to save Jax. It just didn't seem consistent with her character or with how much she respects Jax's fighting ability. I do understand with a novella the story is pushed on a little more than usual. And I will definitely be buying the next instalment :) I can't even with this 'book'. I know it's a serial, and maybe I'm not meant for them.....It's like, I just want something to happen. At the same time I'm totally hooked. I gave this one a low rating, not because it's poorly written, but because I'm not sure I see the point of it other than to make me think Braita is the most selfish shit ever!Fortunately, I'm intrigued enough that I will continue. Saving graces so far being the man candy in my mind and the world building.
