It felt to me like absolutely NOTHING happened in this book. The supernatural world is supposed to be in state of a devastating war, and what does our main character do? Sits in her tent, has sex, and throws tantrums over trivial stuff. This trilogy seemed salvageable after book 2, so now I'm left utterly, absolutely disappointed :( Everything that I loved about the first book (Lily, Ezra, Pearl & Jack's friendship being number one) was entirely absent here. This was my least favorite of the series. Like I said with King Cave, what really drew me to this series was the interaction and banter between the Kings and Queens. Pearl and Jack were basically nonexistent in this installment and Lily and Ezra did not know nor like each other. The magic was gone for me, unfortunately. Also, there were a couple of things left unresolved (e.g., Lily never completed the final task given to her by the dark mage), which was weird to me since this is the end of Lily's story.
Do You like book King Tomb (2014)?
The love always win..suffer in the beggining but happy in the end :)
