This woman has got to be the unluckiest woman alive! Both parents and brother are dead, first husband is dead, she marries an abusive, powerful, man who tries to kill her and then becomes the target of a serial killer!That said I enjoyed the book. There is a romantic element to the book, but in my opinion the suspense aspect is stronger and kept me hooked. On to the next one in the series...,,,, This book is so good that even when I'm through with it, the characters remain alive in my head. I could literally hear Henry barking, playing with the kids and protecting his new found family. The best part of the book is the vivid descriptions. It was like a movie being played in my mind's eye, and I definitely enjoyed such a movie! Thanks for writing this book Melinda! I look forward to reading your other books. I'm sure they are either just as awesome, or even better!
