I am loving the Original Sinners series!! This was a short story best read after The Siren. It provides depth to Nora & Soren's relationship. An account of Nora's brief loan to Daniel helps you understand the strength of her relationship and tie to Soren. You also experience an empathetic side of Nora and can see why she is so special.I do have a soft spot for Daniel I admit!! Read this before The next in the series "The Angel". I'm a ultimate romantic so this story got a love hate response from me. I didn't like to relationship between priest and Elle because its doom from start. He's unwilling to be full time partner or he wouldn't be a priest. Daniel story is very sad and when he meets Elle they have great promise of a relationship but because she's so devoted to priest nothing comes of it. I only like to read HEA so Daniel getting on with his life is great but because he's not with Elle I didn't like ending. Really good quick read tho.
