Good novella, it took me a minute to remember who Mike was but once I realized he was November's Dad it all fell in place. I enjoyed this book but I think it would have been better if it was a full length book so you got more indepth of a story. So really my only problems is I wanted more, so really not much of a critisizium. I love this author and look forward to much more. I liked how this book had a little bit from all the Mayson brothers. Definitely worth the read. The cover to this book snagged my attention quick! The only thing I knew about Aurora Rose Reynold’s was that she had a great eye for beautiful covers. After the first few pages, I was hooked. Between Kat’s spunky personality and Mike’s gruffness, I could not put the book down. These two made such a cute couple. They both had baggage and had to find a way to work past their insecurities.Kat is a newly divorced mom of a teenage son. Kat is one of those characters that you just have to love. She is full of life and does not let anyone push her around. She knew she wanted more than what Mike and her first said they did. She loved that stubborn man.Mike was crushed by his ex, he has turned into Mr. Love’m and leave them. He doesn’t do love and he definitely does not fall for a woman with a teenager. Or that is what he thought until she walked out on him. When he realizes he wants Kat back I was rooting for him all the way!Mike grew throughout this entire book. He realized what he wanted and that meant stepping outside of his comfort zone on multiple levels. He realized Brandon needed a role model and became that man for him. I absolutely adored this sexy man. One thing I was not crazy about is how this story jumped through time with no warning. It did a few major jumps and left me tilting my head until I realized what the author did.
