I really enjoyed this. The idea of finding the love you lost years ago. You fall in love with this couple as soon as you realize what they have. However, CJ wasn't going to let Schooner go and did some unspeakable things to ruin what Mia and Schooner were growing into. Hell of a cliff hanger at the end. Looking forward to reading more.The only downfall I felt Mia's story was a bit long. 5 of the easiest stars I have ever given a book. I was recommended this after requesting a book about an older couple and while the first part focuses on while they're at college the second part is the present day and they're in their 40's. It's a real page turner with so many twists, I couldn't put it down. I feel like I truly connected with the main characters and know everything about their lives. Which is a credit to this incredibly talented author. There were so many times I was a blubbering mess but on the flip side some really funny laugh out loud moments and lovely heartwarming parts too. This has got to be one of the most oh my word you cannot stop there cliffhangers ever! Thankfully I can jump right into the next book as I cannot wait to find out what happens next with Schooner and Mia.
