Obtained this copy from NetGalley.This is the first Scaredy Squirrel series I've read. It is a hilarious handbook to prepare for Halloween! I personally love Chapter 3 which is regarding the Halloween costumes. It has different themes to choose from and DIY projects to make your own Halloween costume of your choice.In overall the book includes detail and yet interesting guidelines for kids not only to prepare for Halloween, but some common knowledge on the things around us.Looking forward to read more Scaredy Squirrel books. In time for the holiday, Scaredy Squirrel is back. This time, he's teaching kids to be safe for Halloween. Some of his tips are a bit over-the-top, but it's all in good clean fun, as children learn to safely carve a happy pumpkin, choose a costume, decide which candies are safe to eat, and even how to outsmart the bad guys, in this wonderful how-to guide.-------------------------- This book was presented to me as an eBook by Kids Can Press, via Edelweiss, in exchange for an honest review.
