Love! I've been straying away from historical romance lately because I find I just don't have the same patience for them as I used to but i enjoyed this one so much. I love how Sophie accepts her fate, and how she doesn't play games and how straightforward she is. And Adam is just a dream.P.S. i am quite a sucker for stories where the household help plays key roles and show loyalty to their masters. In my opinion, they don't get enough recognition for the role they play in our lives. I LOVE Adam. . . Sophia is more than the illegitimate daughter of a fire and brimstone Duke with no real morals. She is strong, independent, witty, opinionated and has a big heart. She does not deserve the fate her irresponsible father has in store for her or her friends. She chooses to have one thing that would last a lifetime. In walks Adam and his invitation. He makes this more than a memory. Enoch rocks on this one.
