Once again didn't realize this was a series until I brought #3 home from the library. Fortunatly had #1 on my own shelves, so read it yesterday and bought 2 and 4 today-in for a long read-Thought the book was fun, didn't have a hit the heroine over the head moment, so that is always good. Understood having your heartbroken and trying to resist, afraid of it happening again! Diane opens a gaming club, hires many women to staff it (will be heroines in the next books) must borrow money from Oliver, the man who broke her heart 2 years ago, but of course, all turns out well in the end!!! This was a "Did not finish." It was horrible, all the main characters did was fight and bitch, and I could in no way ever envision them in a happy relationship at any point in the future. Diane, the main character, said it right when she told Oliver, "I don't trust you, which precludes me from ever liking you again. If you are considering listening to the audiobook, don't, the narration is also horrible.
Do You like book A Beginner's Guide To Rakes (2011)?
I loved this book and will continue with the series. It was great to see how the club got opened.
