About book Ruby Redfort Take Your Last Breath (2013)
Ok, so I didn't get to finish the book because I had to return it to the library and I already renewed it so I had to give it back. The page I was last left on was 162. I hope I can pick it up. The book was good, but the first one was better than the second. It felt like it was too slow for me at first, but then it got good. But still, I know we had to try to put the clues together, but it was slow. But I would like to pick up on were I was. Step aside Harriet the Spy. There's a new kid in town. Ruby Redfort returns in this second spy novel. Strange things are happening in Twinford. Fish are missing from the sea. Pirates are terrorizing the coast around the Sibling Islands. The solution involves musical codes, which alone make this book really cool. Add to that all the neat gadgets that Spectrum, the top-secret spy agency that employs Ruby, and you have a great kids detective novel. One that adults will enjoy just as much.

Good action, good plot but was a bit predictable at times. Can't wait to read the next book!!
