About book Rot Wie Das Meer (2011)

I have never read anything by this author before, but I really liked this book. The island of Thisby reminded me of the island in How to Train Your Dragon and I really liked the idea of flesh-eating water horses. I really thought the characters were written well and I liked how the relationships between them worked. And I know YA romances are a dime a dozen, but the way Puck and Sean's relationship was written felt very organic. Review: by Maggie StiefvaterThis book I read about is a book of theories and myths that the author, Maggie Stiefvater puts to life. This story is very good, but it does lack in the details of climax that could make me more drawn to the plot along with the poor, but subtle ending. The book, by Maggie Stiefvater is based on the legends of the eich uisce, the Celtic water horse, The Scorpio Race takes place on the tiny, fictional island of Thisby. Each November, water horses emerge from the black ocean and gallop the beach beneath the cliffs of Thisby. And also each November, men capture these horses for a thrilling and deadly race. Both Sean Kendrick, four time champion, and Kate "Puck" Connolly, newcomer to the races, will ride this year, and both of them have more to gain or loose than in any previous years. But only one can win this daring race of thrill for one's plain and desire to do so. All in all yes I would definitely recommend this book. I would encourage to anyone of the teens or a maturing reader for a fun, relaxing, get away novel to sit down and enjoy. What I loved about this book is that it gave me sense of mythology type lines, truly had realistic themes and events. I hope you enjoy the book if you do take it upon yourself to read this adventurous book.

Do You like book Rot Wie Das Meer (2011)?

This book took me a lot longer to finish than I thought it would. The book was rather slow moving until the the last 10 chapters. I found I was more interested in reading about Sean Kendrick than I was interested in reading about Puck. It was a pretty good book, but not something I'm likely to reread. I guess because I'm not big into horses it was hard for me to keep track in this book. I still don't really understand how the capall uisce are different from regular horses. Other than they're bigger, faster, and will eat flesh. I guess I should have done some research before reading the book.

I loved each page and every word of this book. The ending was so overwhelming, I still have a knot in my heart and a few tears unshed (I shed a lot more). For the moment, I cannot put into words the feelings I have for this book. Sean, Puck, Corr, Dove, even Finn, you guys are going to be FOREVER in my heart and soul. I loved this story so much.I'm a huge fan of mythology and lore and believe me I was not disappointed.P.S. I love that my book has the recipe for November cakes xD
