The characters were shallow and undeveloped. It was disappointing and I won't continue to read the next "episode". I wouldn't even call this a short story as it seemed to jump in the middle and the only conflict was that She broke His heart and he went on to be OH-SO-RICH-AND-FAMOUS.It isn't even that she fell into his arms with such ease as I've read other books where the characters practically jump into bed after the first meeting...Yuck! This one is getting 2 stars by rounding up. It was a very quick read, but I feel like it was almost too rushed, and then ended way too quickly in order to bring in a second book. I didn't care much for parts of the dialogue, especially at times during the sex scenes. One that stands out in my mind is when Gage says, "Speak my name" while they're in the middle of having sex. I could see "say", but speak? Also, "I want to be inside you when you lift off. Let's take it to the stars together." Rocket references? Really? Last one, I promise..."turgid teat." Hmm. But these could just be my quirks. Writing style was decent, but just felt way too rushed and unbelieveable, not to mention a theme that I'm starting to see over and over again with the reporter interviewing the former boyfriend rockstar and then being asked to go on tour. I probably won't finish this series.
Do You like book Rock Hard (2013)?
Not bad. This could have been at least 3 stars if it didn't end so abruptly.
