Do You like book Rob Delaney: Mother. Wife. Sister. Human. Warrior. Falcon. Yardstick. Turban. Cabbage. (2013)?
Reading Delaney's Twitter feed has long since become something no-one needs to do, as much like George Takei on Facebook, everyone's sharing the posts anyway. Whilst still funny, I went into reading this with some wariness assuming it'd be all in the dumb but self-important character Delaney writes in. Instead its a collection of stories from a life thoroughly well lived, ranging from the ridiculous to the heartbreaking, particularly when he openly talks about his alcoholism, serious car crash and time in rehab and a halfway house. Its always funny but the candid nature took me by surprise and I genuinely found myself adoring this book. Plus for Twitter fans, its full of his favourite Tweets between each story. Also: the phrase "Twitter fans" makes me feel grubby. Ugh.

Oh Rob, how I love you. How I sincerely appreciate every single word that is printed on these pages. This review is going to become an ode to my love for Rob Delaney and his hilarious stories compiled in this book. It's funny, really really adorable, heartwarming, sometimes kind of uncomfortably disgusting, and so SO good. This surely isn't a good review because it's really hard for me to find the words to describe how much I sincerely enjoyed this book and the honesty inside of it.Thank you for writing this gem and letting me have something that I really never get tired of reading over and over again.
