It was okay, but I expected more. The scenes seemed rushed. No time to build up tension so when the conflict was ressolved I was: And that was it? Jessie was just on the sidelines in this book. Alexi was the one who did everything. He might as well has been the protagonist of this book. Meh. If this had been a middle book, it'd have been more acceptable, but as the end of the sequel... it fell short. The last book in Shannon's debut series and I am content with the story and how everything ended. However, because so much was going on and all the different povs, it felt choppy to me. It wasn't a smooth fluid read like the rest of the series. The ending of the book kind of snow balled for my taste, but everything was wrapped up an addressed. I don't want to say to spoil anything so I will just say the build up at the end with a select two characters was fast forwarded. We read the "sick" part but we didn't get to read about the "crazy" part. Also, I have so many questions about "the cure". Nevertheless, I was happy with the underlining story. I just wished this book was broken into two and expanded some more. It felt like so much was stuffed into this one book, so much that some parts are left out. But still, i like the book -alot more than the 4th one.I don't want this to be the end of a series. I'm sad to leave Junction behind.

This is one of those series that I'm not sure why I continue to read, but I do so anyway.
