Ok, so this book was a bit of an oddity. So now we are normal (so to speak), and my beautiful Pietr Rusakova is lost within himself... he is having an identity crisis. I think if you were a bitten/made wolf it would have been the same going in. He is born wolf, so he has only known himself as the wolf. But now he is getting his inner geek on? Seems he would try different things as he has a world of possibilities. But honestly I did not see him totally freezing out Jessica. And this Marleana chick is really doing nothing but rubbing me the wrong way. What is it with these Rusakova men?! Even Alexi... they somewhat take insecurity to a different level than even women do. Max is going to slow, Alexi is too scared, and Pietr is dead stopped. UGH... but I must read on and hopefully they get their act together... I had mixed feelings on this book- the first 1/2 felt much slower and wasn't as entertaining as the previous books had been. I like the introduction of the new pack and the chaos that they add to the story line. And while Amy goes through a major traumatizing event it was interesting to see how Max developed and matured to stand by her, how Jessie was steadfast by her friend and how Amy comes out of the shell the event left her in. Add in the chaos of having werewolves being cured, the changes that it brings, and all the other stuff dropped in to give it a cliff hanger ending- I can say I was much happier with the last 1/2 than the first and promptly started #5.

This book didn't flow as well as the others. It was much more difficult to get through.

Loved it more twists and turns to be unraveled in the next book.
