4.5/5I link that this book showed Lily taking the steps to change and get better. And she kind of discovered why she has an addiction, which I had been wondering the answer to that since the first book. I'm glad that the revelation didn't drag through all the other books without hope of being revealed. I'm excited to move on to the next one and see how her relationship with Lo, as well as her family progresses. I'm sure everyone knows someone dealing with addiction.I loved reading Lo and Lily's struggles. Admitting addiction to yourself, to your family is probably the hardest thing. I hate to say it but the parents always play a vital role, as they do in Lil and Lo's story.Feelings of inadequacy, fear of disappointing, with no room to feel anything for yourself. Lo unable to talk to his dad without being judged, and his dad's own addiction does not a happy man make. Lily is going to have to dig a little deeper because her mother is a very good manipulator.
