I guess the zombie/re-aminated popularity is running high at the moment especially in the graphic novel world - all you need to do is say walking dead and I would be hard pushed to find someone who has not heard of it or knows of it. So to find a story that is both unique yet somehow familiar enough that I could read through the entire book and not scratch my head going WTF is pretty good going (or that I have read far too much weird stuff not to be surpassed anymore) is pretty good going. Thrown in great art work and characters you like but are still suspicious of (as compared to characters you cannot connect with or connect with so much that when the storyline changes direction you feel like they have betrayed you like a lost love) I think shows a level of maturity and commitment to the story that for me says that hold on here is something worth following. This book was a total gamble for me, I have never heard of it - but I must admit I am very pleased and eager to see where the story goes next. This graphic novel was a new and interesting take on zombies (and when I thought I was sick of them) where some of them have more control over their actions. It follows Officer Cypress who is a kick-ass female cop, and how she has to deal with her sister being one of dead that came back to life. The first five comics were a little confusing, so I'm hoping for more answers in the next batch of five.If you like zombies like I do I recommend checking out this graphic novel series.
