Las historias de esta autora y específicamente de esta saga me han encantado, han tenido una cuota exacta de aventuras, romance y galanteo, con personajes bien definidos y diálogos interesantes, divertidos y porque no... picantes. Creí q la forma ideal para cerrar esta serie era contando la historia de Nicholas Ainsley, Duque de Sommerset...¿qué mejor forma que conocer cuales fueron sus motivaciones y la historia detrás de la creación del Club de los Aventureros en si misma?... Sin embargo y pese a esa desilusión inicial... el Capitán Bradshaw Carroway es un personaje sobre el que tenia cierta curiosidad después de leer la Serie "Lecciones de Amor"... así que empece a leer con animo esta nueva aventura especialmente cuando me di cuenta que no se desarrollaría en los salones de baile de Mayfair sino en altamar, en medio de paisajes paradisíacos, sol, brisa, playa y mar pero su historia de amor con Zephyr Ponsley me dejo ciertos sin sabores.... la personalidad de la protagonista la considere algo plana y falta de carácter y la actitud displicente de su padre hacia cualquier cosa que no fuera botánica, flora y fauna me irritó bastante, sin embargo teniendo en cuenta el contexto histórico supongo que podría a llegar a considerarse aceptable; Además tomando como punto de comparación las historias detrás de los demás personajes miembros al club me parece que la del Capitán Shaw era algo débil. Por otra parte, me parece que la personalidad de por demás encantadora de Shaw merece ser resaltada por su temple, disciplina y responsabilidad al momento de cumplir con su deber y tratar a sus subordinados y personas a cargo, ... al igual que su buena relación con su familia y el cariño mutuo que existia entre sus miembros....y en cuanto a Zephyr he de decir que la lealtad hacia su padre y su expedición son dignas de admiración, al igual que la honestidad al momento de expresar sus opiniones dejando de lado las limitaciones sociales y de decoro que se imponían en esa época para una señorita. Zephyr is blunt and the desire between Shaw and Zephyr explodes after sharing a sensual embrace, Zephyr keeps breaking all sorts of rules of decorum and such, but would much rather be in Shaw's embrace, than follow all the rules and be miserable, but what she never counting on was learning that giving into personal desires, can lead to matters of the heart, something she isn't prepared for but then ...neither is the confident rogue of a Captain...Bradshaw Carroway. Rules of an Engagement is the third in the Adventure Club Series by Suzanne Enoch. I just fell instantly in love with this story and the characters. The characters alone were full of wit and passion. The story itself wasn't that incredible, however there was a sense of flirty fun throughout the story, that kept me engaged throughout the whole of it. At the beginning both the main characters hate each other, and had me laughing at their interactions with each other, but we see from the moment that they share that memorable first kiss, that things change for them both, and they realize how much alike they truly are. I truly haven't enjoyed such a romance in a while, and it was good to have one that was carefree and full of laughs...plus the cover is utterly charming
