Kelly gives a frank opinion of the Church in the world today, basically saying that he has seen great faith all around the world on his travels as a businessman and speaker but that the Church as a whole is not growing. His favorite idea is "becoming the best-version-of-yourself." It is a simple phrase with which he hopes we can all direct our energies. He details the usual "pillars" of spirituality, which is good because despite being usual they are not much practiced. These include daily prayer, fasting, the Rosary, etc. He ends by calling for education and evangelization. He is an engaging speaker and writer. Not that I did not know it before, but I feel more ready to live my faith, to be alive. already such a deep book to read AND only in the introduction.. page 11 Going to be a great book if we are open-minded to read many different views. Only on page 61 after reading this for over one month on and off.. and I keep putting the book down, page after page to contemplate my thoughts, collect myself and have tears of joy.. I know I am on the right path. This book is the best and just happens to be in my experience. The date of publishing and everything.. during my struggles and during my saving.THIS AUTHOR REALLY KNOWS HOW TO MAKE YOU CRY Planning on reading this over and over again. This is definitely a keeper in the home for a lifetime or more.
