This was just as good as the first one. I loved the addition of another ghost talker. I think it made things interesting, and of course Alona's jealousy was rather amusing. I felt like it was a little slower than the first novel, but there is a ton of information thrown at you and the slower pace helps. I don't really have much to say about this one. The ending was killer, so I can't wait to get my hands on the third book! By the time I got to the end of this book, I was surprised with how much I liked it, given my mixed feelings about the first book.Will was just as likable this time around, but Kade managed to make Alona, a character I borderline hated, seem pretty cool. Also, the ending was super interesting.I want to rate over 3 stars, but I can't. It took the book over 3/5 of the way through to really make me like it. There was a lot of stumbling through it for me. I did like it, though, and will be finishing the series.
