Kinda-sorta liked this story although I didn't appreciate the bad editing or unnecessary cliffhanger. The story is predictable to an extent and believable, as told through "Hannah's" eyes, we can go along with the madness of temporary insanity in taking the loot! "John" sounds absolutely scrumptious although full of deceit and subterfuge. Yeah, the cover lured me in...I am such a sucker for the muscled, naked male torso! I am intrigued enough as the author hoped and tricked me, and thinking of continuing on to read Raw Temptation... For the LOVE of everything Holy! Why? Why do I always get into these damn trilogy's?? Let's start of in the beginning... Dani is a very sweet and loyal girl. She's had a tough upbringing and was then raised by her grandmother who is now in need of medical treatments she can't afford. She works at a skanky motel during the night shift. While getting suckered to work on her day off she gets stuck with a guy who dies while she's on duty only to find out that he has a brief case filled with a quarter of a million bucks! She does what I would do and takes it, then takes off out of town. Her intentions are good seeing how she planned to take care of her ailing granny with the money. She makes it halfway to her destination when she meets John. Knowing she shouldn't get involved is the exact thing she ends up doing. Without spoiling any more of the story I will say I enjoyed this book a great deal. It's an easy read. Nice little plot. I had a feeling it was going to end the way it did BUT I did not expect to be left hanging! Damn it. Now I have to wait until SPRING??? I mean, why don't I just choke on a handful of skittles while riding a unicorn? Geez! Anyways, I can't wait until Raw Temptation! I want... No! I NEED to know how this story plays out. I gave it 4 stars because for me, I need the sex to be a little more hot and heavy. But.. That's just me. Otherwise, great book!
Do You like book Pure Temptation (2013)?
good story line and moved quickly but ending was way too predictable and boring at that
