About book Prize Package (2013)

This was a delightful story with lots of humor and a very different premise from many other stories I've read. Jason wins a contest to spend the day with The Meat Grinder, a world wrestling champion. Problem is that he doesn't know anything about wrestling and can't even remember entering the contest. But, while doing research, he discovers that The Meat Grinder is Trent Peterson, the guys he had a crush on in college. At the time, Jason was shy, had acne and was younger than Trent so he never approached him. Now, as Jason spends the day with Trent, his snarky sense of humor and quick wit endear him to Trent. They find they have the right chemistry to make the day interesting even without Jason knowing about wrestling. Even the promise of a happy ending was well done and believable. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a fun beach read, needs a laugh, or loves wresting. Combine all three and it will definitely be a winner for you. Jason was an addict. Not to drugs or smoke, but to entering contests. Unfortunately, he never won. So, when he won a contest whose prize was spending a day with pro-westler MeatGrinder, he was shocked. Moreover, he didn't know what to do since he'd never been fan of the sport. What should he do?Good thing when he googled the MeatGrinder's name, he found out that the wrestler was Trent, the jock whom he had crush in college. Not that it helped much, since Trent never knew he existed. This is such a funny and sweet story. I liked how Trent was at the same time irritated and amused that the contest winner had no clues about pro-wrestling but still pretended that he was a big fan of him.
