About book Dirty Drag 2: The Night Drags On (2013)
4.45*I think I liked this one even better than Dirty Drag, not sure I may have to read them both a few times just to be sure. :)Ashley, the cool shoe, short skirt wearing and slutty trashy talking guy that he is, finds himself at Rick's place getting a very original and sugar high inducing snack. ( mind out of the gutter people, the lots-of-sugar shelf wasn't actually intended for this purpose, but I couldn't not use it! ) Ashley being Ashley has to make sure Rick knows who he brought home, just to be sure he wasn't confusing Ashley with a demure, charming and innocent drag wearing guy. You have to love Ashley, at least I do, I am sure he is really a lot deeper than he lets on and I think Rick is the perfect match for his antics. I love the humor in Kyle Adams stories, they hit all my funny buttons and this one might have been the best with the subtle and not so subtle funny lines.So, a big thanks for continuing Ashley and Rick's story, I hated them being left sort of hanging *cough* after the first one and not only are Q-tips multipurpose it seems Oreos are also very versatile. I am seriously smiling just thinking about this book. I would also like to point out that I own a rainbow pony t-shirt! Go read this story! And you know it's coming right? I want more of these two, really I do. I think they need to clear up the boobnapping and I think Ashley should just hold the cookie jar for ransom. And will Dairy Queen ever be the same? I need to know....ETA Go read the first one, then read this one..it's funny, cute and free! Go..now. :) I swear I was smiling the whole time I read this. So much character is revealed in Kyle's writing by these sneaky little comments slipped into the dialog or the characters' inner (mostly rambling) thoughts. They expose little idiosyncrasies and flaws and strengths and weaknesses, usually making me laugh in the process. The end result - totally loveable - and imperfect - boys you just, well ... love.
