Can I give this book a zero star rating??? I just finished JP's Hope to Die and thought that maybe things were turning around for his books. They have been getting worse and worse...so much that I was on the brink of moving on to other (better?) authors like so many of my friends have. But when I read Hope to Die I thought that things were going back the way they used to be. Don't get me wrong...it wasn't as good as they used to be, but much better than his recent ones. But enough of that book... I guess I am justifying why I picked up Private India...Private India is a total stinker.....I tried repeatedly to read it and it was so disjointed that it made very little sense to me. There were way too many characters with difficult names (my fault, I know..I do not have a grasp of the Indian language) that it was terribly confusing. It was difficult to follow the plot, if there was one. I did not even finish the book, and that is something that I rarely do. I gave the book to a friend who is having the same difficulty that I did. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! The new branch of Private, a detective agency opened by Jack Morgan is now in India and run by agent Santosh Wagh. Santosh must find a killer who is killing people and leaving strange items at the scene of their deaths. This book was ok, but not as good as the ones written about America.I did not like the characters as much. The location was in Mumbai and the action was fast paced. The story kept you reading and I thought the plot Was good.
Do You like book Private India (2014)?
First time I had no interest in getting past chapter 10 in one of Patterson's books. Too boring.

Love the way we get to visit different cities in each book.
