I love the the 2nd book, even more than the first. So much more drama with a perfect ending. The supporting characters each had their own special ability which added spice to the initial plot. They weren't just an unnecessary extension but their presence had a purpose and added life to the story. Rhiannon did a good job as well in connecting these intricate personalities and the decisions they made into an exciting, funny, and intense story line that makes sense. I adore stories like this, where an unlikely pair, find each other and turns out to be the thing they have been missing yet not knowing that they need each other. I was happy to see Amaliya accept her current situation and what she had become. Seeing her enjoy her new life, even though there was murder and betrayal around every corner.Cian's and Amal's confession at the end was just the cherry on top all the bloody drama and I'm sure will be the start of something exciting in their next adventure. Looking forward to reading the 3rd book. September 2013Second time I've read it this year and it still kicks ass. The third book is just out but not on Audible damn it! I guess I will break down and get it on Kindle. Sigh. I highly recommend the series.---------------March 2013WoW! Ms. Frater sure knows how to write a kick ass battle of the supernatural. An excellent second book with some solid twists in it as the cabal of Austin grows. This series flows (no pun intended) more like True Blood than Twilight (thank God) in lore and humor. I can't wait for the third and I guess final of the trilogy.
Do You like book Pretty When She Kills (2013)?
I thought that this was a great second book and I'm excited to read the third one.
