I had no idea what to expect with this book as I'm not a huge vampire fan.. But I am so glad that I chose to pick up this book!!What a crazy journey!Tons of action! One problem after another !Beautiful conclusion to book 1..Although I am extremely skeptical due to this being a series ..! Nothing ever ends happy !Can't wait to start book 2..I've ordered it and am not so patiently waiting for it to arrive ..!!!! Engaging plot with fascinating characters with their not so squeaky clean background. This book has such a passionate and charming romance with the perfect combination of betrayal and murder. Sticking to the original legend of Vampires as monsters, with their hedonistic and primal needs. I was glued to every word on the pages. I didn't skip any pages, the details wasn't overwhelming or confusing and the tensions between characters was enough that it didn't frustrate me but kept me curious. Oh and I'm a fan of the grandma, she's an awesome addition to the plot!!
