I read the book and enjoyed it at the beginning, hated it in the middle, and enjoyed the ending. The reason I disliked it was because I don't know why but many of the characters annoyed me at SOME point of the book. The main character's sudden annoyance of her mom dating angered me and the friend trying to get involved with her friend situation, also annoyed. So since this went on throughout the book, it lessens the enjoyment of it. I love the characters in this book and the drama going on between the characters. From Josie getting closer to Matt Rigby to her meeting her father, Paul Tucci. Everything starts to change for Josie and her mom, Kate, when they bump into Paul Tucci's parents at a grocery store. When an event happens, Kate is reunited with her ex and Josie gets to know the part of the family she never had. In the end they find out mistakes were made and have to learn to forgive.
