After 50% I only skipped through the pages. There was way too much dialog. Not that it wasn’t good, but it was just A LOT. And the jealousy, which I usually love, was a tiny little bit too much for my liking. I think it actually bordered on possessiveness o.O I liked the pairing (detective and billionaire, cool combination) and their sex was very INTENSE but the book just didn’t do it for me. I freaking loved this book. I just love Aaron and he was a perfect match for Duncan. It’s not often that I enjoy seeing an alpha male in a submissive role...but it so worked for Aaron. This made perfect sense. I just loved to see that side of him along with the possessiveness. This is a book where you have to suspend belief, but it’s not hard to do because of the characters. If this is the end of A Matter of Time series, it was a great ending to it. If there is more, I can’t see where... but I am always open to surprise. I love Jory and Sam, but their story had been told. And Aaron and Duncan, well...I think theirs is too!
Do You like book Parting Shot (2013)?
This has always been a good series to follow, and I hope there will be more books in it.
