Lori Brockton is brutally raped and goes into hiding for two years afterwards. When she emerges, determined to get her life back on track and learn to run her family's brewing company by working in every department to learn all the ins and outs of the company, she meets Garret Hunter and Eli Buchannan.Garret is strong, sweet, and pushes her to overcome her fears that have plagued her since her attack. He brings her back to herself a little at a time making her realize that she can overcome her fears. But she wants to be her own strong self and not rely on anyone so she brings chaos to Garret's organized world refusing to completely trust in him.Eli is a bad ass brewer brought in to drag the company into the 21st century. He is big, strong, intimidating, and 100% sexy. He brings Lori to life in his own way, teaching her the brewing part of the business. She wants him and he wants her, but because of a bad breakup, Eli pushes her away not wanting anything serious; though she makes him feel like trying.A love triangle at it's finest. One girl, two hot ass men, and a lot of beer. Paradise hops was a great short read. Sexy and original. I loved the story, and the characters. Wished it was longer, but still wrapped up beautifully. Discovered this book on NetGalley. This is the first novel I've read that was written by Liz Crowe. I'm really late in writing my review for this book, since I've already got to read and review another of Liz's books,"Mutual release". First of all, after reading "Paradise Hops" I thought that this novel was a true jewel. I was completely blown away by the story. I couldn't stop thinking how exceptionally good this novel was. "Paradise Hops" is a romance novel with HEA but before you get there you can't help but shed some tears. This is one of the novels that shows you "the good, the bad, and the ugly" of falling in love, having it all, loosing it, and then getting a second chance in happiness. The novelty of this book is the location. The beer brewing process provides the background to the whole story. Truly, who knew that beer brewers and what they do could be so alluring?
Do You like book Paradise Hops (2012)?
Not your average romance. Emotional powerhouse. Not an HEA for everyone. Bawled through a lot of it.
