About book Closing Costs (2012)

OK, this is where the rubber hits the road, so to speak. After of about 10 years of the on and off affair, Jack and Sara have reached their limits. They act like a married couple of the verge of divorce or worse. Most of the time they can be civil, but the minute their attraction comes into play... just close the door and throw away the key! Let them fight it out.By this point, it is obvious what Jack is seeking is the unconditional love he never received as he was growing up. If you have not read House Rules, do yourself a favor and read it right now. It is a novella and it will enlighten you as to where Jack is coming from. Two adults so deeply in love and scared to be vulnerable and give a little, holding on to their pride and their stubbornness is not a healthy situation. They are oil and vinegar... great flavor on a salad and they complement each other, but unable to mix together without an emulsifying third element. I think that third element is Katie. This installment resolves the issues, and along the way, you will be gripping the arms of your chair, so brace up for this bumpy and thrilling ride. Closing Costs is the third book in the Steward Realty series by Liz Crowe. Honestly, what can be said about this love saga? It has everything you are looking for; Angst, passion and lots of sexual tension.Closing Cost continues the story of Sara and Jack and spans over several years. At times, this story is frustrating but so humanly normal you have to continue reading just to see if it all turns out alright in the end and whether Sara will actually achieve her “Happy Ever After” she is looking for.If you thought Sara and Jack’s relationship was complicated in the previous two instalments, it’s nothing to how complex everything is now. We have a third party and a child to add to the mixture, bringing extra drama and fun to the mix.At times through this book I wondered whether either of them had learnt anything over their lives about each other and life in general but I guess that’s what makes this book so good in the way it can enchant you and brings to live the main characters so well.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Love conquers all? Not likely, according to Sara Thornton. She's spent eight years coming to terms with the new parameters of her life while resigning herself to the idea that “happily ever afters” are best left to fairy tales. Sales manager for her successful real estate office and juggling an added element of responsibility she never thought she'd face, Sara continues to struggle with the men in her life. Love, for her, has only meant hurt, broken trust and anger; all of which she’s completely banished from her life, so she claims.Jack Gordon has come a long way since his early days of obsession with Sara. As the general manager of Stewart Realty, his own level of responsibility for the well-being of others has ramped up. He’s even honed his caretaking skills, now that he has someone who loves him unconditionally. Continuing to invest effort and rebuild their relationship, he and Sara grow close as friends. Despite this, his ultimate question remains unanswered; the one he keeps asking, no matter how many times she says no. Sara isn't prepared for the keen focus of his need--to have her back, once and for all. Her stubborn resistance nearly rips both lives apartThe epic conclusion to The Realtors series, Closing Costs brings Jack and Sara truly full circle. Proving that the heat of lust and obsession; the need for control and to be
