With a title like this, I keep expecting someone to bust out with a turban. That would be awesome! Not too many stories feature someone super good-looking with a turban. Anyway-I would be lying if I were to say that this is one of my favorites. Clearly, it is not. Terrible? No, clearly it is not terrible either. I thought that this would be a lovely romance between two people who follow the other's gender stereotype. Well, the second part of that statement is right. With Ryo the way that she is, a true romance isn't getting close anytime soon. I also did not realize how many mangas have mangakas directly in the story, or maybe that's just the trend I am on for the past couple of years? I just don't know what to do with any of these characters: Asuka the girly sword-wielding, judo guy Ryo the messy and terrible cook, and Juta the womanizing mangaka. They don't come together in the most appealing way for me. Actually, the come together in a big random mess. The only way it could get messier would be if Clover my rabbit came in and decided she was going to shuffle things around like she does with me bed and clothes. All-in-all, it's a big ball of just okay. Just normal. Asuka is nice, with his girly tastes and girly behavior, and Tashibana is also a nice friend. It is interesting that Tashibana gets inspiration in Asuka to write his manga shoujos, behind Asuka's back. Asuka is very serious, and kind of naive, which I find a little refreshing. So far I am not a fan of the couple Asuka-Ryo. They are OK, but I do not find them cute nor funny; mostly bland.
Do You like book Otomen, Tome 1 (2008)?
Super cute lovestory where girly giy meets tomboyish girl and they fall in love!
