The focus flips to Michelle Milo, Clay's longtime friend, who held a (unrequited) torch for Clay for years. Finally realizing she must move on from that dream, Michelle is more focused than ever on her career as a highly regarded relationship therapist. And yes, she recognizes the irony of being a skilled professional at helping other people with their relationship issues, yet a failure at her own. A flirtatious encounter with a guy in a hotel bar, followed by a smoking hot hookup raises her spirits and has her thinking it could turn into something more. She finds out the next day he's a new client. Oops. Jack is equally stunned to find the therapist his sister booked for him to work out his issues is the women he couldn't get enough of the night before. What happens next? You'll have to move on to the full length novel. I like this new trend of authors releasing a free novella as an enticement leading into a longer book. It works.
