4.5 STARSI loved this! it was a surprise, to be honest. I was expecting maybe some useless drama but this was sweet, sexy and lovely all at the same time. I loved Trey, he was so determined to win over Cassie. He was so sexy, so cute at times and endearingly honest with his feelings--most of the time!I also really loved Cassie. I find I have problems with heroines lately. They're either too brash, too bitchy, whiny or super stubborn. Cassie was a perfect mix of smart, successful, kind, sexy, sweet and considerate. She often put others before herself, even when she could have saved her own ass, but she never did. She also took the whole 'quarterback' thing in stride, which made me love her more. Trey and Cassie were so cute together, and mature. It was refreshing reading about a couple that refused to get riddled down with useless drama. Instead, this was very straightforward and moved quickly. I couldn't stand mega-witch, Tabitha. She often overstepped and treated Cassie like dirt. Sometimes I wished Cassie would stand up for herself a little more, but I totally understood her reasons for not doing so. Her strength and resilience in staying strong for her sisters was admirable.I loved how this ended, and since this is a first in a series, it will be interesting seeing the other bobcats find their own ladies. Cassie, the heroine, was engaging, funny, hopeful, human, real. Though one would expect an arrogance to Trey, he surely came across as a good, normal, down-to-earth guy. Emotions are front and center and you will feel the sometimes exhilarating, sometimes scary roller coaster ride. The cast of supporting characters are all so vibrant and entertaining as well. A definite recommend.
