I read this title to fill a spot on my June Challenge Opposites Attract dance card. A4/B8 Enemies to Lovers/Boots & Chaps. I bent a couple of my rules of habit by jumping into the series at #4 and then paying full on retail for the title. Glad I did, Lorelei James delivers again. Great story, heartbreaking characters, lots of ranching and rodeo info I'd never thought to ask about and way sexy shenanigans liberally sprinkled through out. I really like this story. This couple was quirky and rowdy with one another. They played it like it was an arrangement for them for the designated time period, but both felt more for each other than they were willing to say. I like that Kyle was willing to tell Celia how he felt about her first. He had to convince her to stay with him because he loved her vs Celia having to convince him like more stories go. Kyle and Celia complimented one another and didn't beat around the bush to be with one another, even if it was a farse to begin with.
Book 2 & Book 4 have been the best in the series.. I always enjoy James' books though!

Best in the series so far. I think I cried separately three or four times.
