An incredibly enthralling contemporary New Adult read, this book was solid through and through. An engaging and believable cast of characters, sexy romance, and a nostalgic look back at the good ole college days - just super fun and enjoyable the whole way through. I really liked the writing style - very descriptive but without being overly wordy, which is a delicate balance to strike - and the main character's narration was fast-paced and funny. I feel like the whole thing went by way too quickly! Looking forward to picking up more of this author's work for sure. This book was boring. I thought Ellie's communicating skills were on an level of a 12 year old. The way she would her insecurity take over making conclusions and then refusing to talk about it irritated the sh#it out of me. I wanted to shake some sense in her and for her to grow up. Ben was nice and if I was in his situation I would have looked around would go after a woman instead of this Ellie childlike.The characters were pretty flat.
It kind of just plodded along for quite awhile. I did like the friends that Ellie had. It was ok.
