About book Nueve Meses Después (Harlequin Bianca, #791) (2011)
Loved the humor, h was TSTL in how starry-eyed she was but kind of adorable. And she does stick up for herself (at least a little bit). H didn't grovel and suffer nearly enough for the truly horrific thing he did. At least he showed regret but the punishment did not fit the crime. He needed to see pictures of her with other men or something. Probably nothing short of public humiliation would have satisfied me. She was just way too forgiving. And although compared to his worst cruelty 4 tears ago, the dress was outrageous...he does not say he wasn't sleeping with Marianna, so he was...what an insensitive jerk. Loses a star for me because that degree of insensitivity needing to be followed by some serious pain. I did not expect this book to be as funny, charming, and moving as it was from the title. I'm not sure what I expected, but it really did enchant me in a surprising way. Alekos and Kelly are a romance gone bad whose reconciliation leads to even more powerful sparks than when they last saw each other which leads to the nine-month scandal. Sandwiched in all that is a tale of acceptance and love that I responded to quite ardently. When you get to the part about the 'spare bear', I defy you to tell me it doesn't make you tear up a bit.

Angsty and tear-jerking but emotionally satisfying. (And the title does not suit it at all!)
