I find a love story involving someone with cognitive impairment is an endearing topic after all I truly do believe we all deserve to be in a loving relationship no matter what... However, that was all for me because something(s) did not sit well in this story...too many angst with simple plots was too much for me...Simon and his mate also lacked substance as a couple which is a pity because this story had so much potential to be a wonderful one, in my opinion. In this the fourth installment of Stormy Glenn's Aberdeen Pack series entitled No so simple Simon we meet our characters the tough elite enforcer Ares and his mate Simon whom is regarded by most as being simple. Through all the obstacles, near death experiences and machinations of a spoiled brat can they find their way to love and their happily ever after. Another exciting story from Ms Glenn that is action packed yet at the same time tugs at the heartstrings with the depth of emotion that runs through it. It shows that just because you see the world differently from those around you that you are anything but simple and that sometimes the simple answer is best.
This was my favorite of the series--loved Simon and Ares together!
