Meh.......I quite enjoyed the previous books, but this one just has so many faults in it...English is not my first language, and still I found that my toes curled due to grammar mistakes and just really bad editing. (Which is not uncommon for LL books)Also, in the very end there is a mayor f**k up in the story.First they appear to be in the labs at the elevators, and in the next moment they step out of bed,(thouroughly fucked)and threatened by the bad guy. I actually downloaded a different version of the book to check if my original version wasn't missing a few pages...Also, it seems that the number of words to be used was running out or something, because the story was rushed to an awful unsatisfactory end, where nothing was explained. This book doesn't move the overall storyline forward but I liked the connection between the main characters. I also liked that the book wasn't about setting up future characters but stayed focused on these characters. I would have given this 4 stars but there was a MAJOR editing mess up right at the ending after a whole build up for Navarro to express his feelings.. they were kissing in the hall, Navarro finally says I love you, the villian interrupts and suddenly they are no longer in a hallway but in her bedroom and undressed... what?! It was like 4 pages were missing but it made no sense and it ruined the whole buildup to the story.. grr.
Do You like book Navarro's Promise (2011)?
One of the better ones in the series, it deals with more emotions than some of the books.
