Logan the owner of the hardware store next door and is more than willing to help her with her goal. An excellent start to a wonderful new series. I am so looking forward to more. I loved Madison and Logan so hot and sexy!!! As the book description says, Madison is a control freak with a hidden submissive side. She has never actively explored it because every time she has dipped her toe in the water, it seems to have been bitten off. She has decided that after seven failed relationships, one is just not in the cards for her. When her sister Alice dies and leaves her an erotic novelty shop, she moves from Boston to the outskirts of Charleston, intent to try to make a go of it. After all, her sister was successful, and had faith that Madison "might" be able to carry on the legacy. Madison is not so sure. She reads a note from her sister that she should put her absolute trust in someone named Logan. Who is this? She soon finds out that he owns the hardware store next door and WOW! She is immediately drawn to his authoritative demeanor, and finds out that he is a Master Dom. Hmm...Alice knew about her submissive side and had kept trying to draw it out of her. That is why they had been estranged for the last two years - which had happened to be the last two years of Alice's life. It seems that Alice had "given" Madison to Logan...for him to keep her in his care. Madison is not sure what to do with this. She is definitely drawn to him, but not ready to give in to her hidden cravings...or is she?Joey W. Hill is an excellent writer on this subject. She does not take it "over the top" - but makes her descriptions of the BDSM lifestyle erotic as well as informative. I enjoyed reading Part 1 of Madison and Logan's story, and can't wait to see what's in store for this couple.
