No. I did not like this book.No surprises. Not agreeing with the choices of the characters. No attachment.Tobin and Delia loved each other for one year, then it stopped. Delia followed her parents to a new city and a new state, leaving all her life behind, including Tobin. When Tobin's brother died, she came for the funeral. Because she liked Eamon.Tobin is shocked to see her. Things ended badly for them. Still, he has missed her. She has missed him too.But with so much left unsaid, and so much history between them, how can they move on - together or alone ?The only character I liked was Weston. He is like... Perfect. I might be in love.Tobin and Delia, on the other hand, are both self-centered, so I guess they are perfect for each other. And, quite frankly I was disgusted about their falling out. I expected something surprising. Instead, I guessed why they had at Chapter 2. Whew, this story is a tear jerker. Tobin is such a nice young man who is full of life and of course a little wild country boy. Delia is suffocating in a life she clearly didn't choose. Their past failures and mistakes have left them both raw and hurt. When Tobin's brother dies and Delia goes home old hurt mixed with new grief bring this couple to their knees. This is a beautiful story about forgiveness, love, coming of age, and losing someone close. Exceptional writing, well developed characters and lots of emotion.
