Started of kinda good, the authors "touched" on a subject that is taboo in our society, mental illness, which was good. . . What I didn't like, is that the writers thought it was more important to give us detail explicit sex, than humanizing and developing other characters in the story, like Aunt Wendy, who was a vibrant character she made you laugh, and Katie's mother, Pam. Also I would have like to have known more about Jason father, Bob and how he dealt with a wife who had, bipolar. Then there's Grandmother May, who Katie live with for a number years. Personally I think it would had been real interesting to have her granny May and grandpa J meet. I also would have like to seen Bob, Jason father meet someone. I wished the authors hadn't skimmed over these characters. The book need more developmentation of the all the characters in the book. What about Kate brothers and sister that didn't no anything about, I hope there is more about them in the next book. Katie's coming back to the hometown she left 10 years ago. Now a successful lawyer, she is coming back for the wedding of a friend and the sister of her late boyfriend -- who died 10 years ago. Jason was her best friend and he's been in love with her since they were 5. Katie's a hot mess -- suffers from panic attacks because of it -- and she's awful at communicating, which is the source of most of the drama in this book.Even though this is a series, they get an HEA -- or at least the hint at one. I'd guess we'd see more of them in the other books?Hated the title.
