I received this book from Netgallery in return for an honest review.I was planning to read this book anyway due to its nomination on the 2014 Goodreads awards so I was pleased when offered the chance to review it. The book certainly grew on me after a fairly slow start where the characters didn't excite me. By two thirds of the way through the book I was finally hooked and couldn't put it down.This is the 2nd book in the series and I am not sure how much this affected my enjoyment as there were references to story lines from the previous book. I think that this series will improve the more you read, the characters will develop and ongoing story lines will add to the enjoyment. Three stars sounds like an average read but I am convinced that by reading additional books in this series the ratings will improve. If you are already a fan of Veronica Mars, spoke will be fantastic. The story is only okay, but reconnecting with all of our favorite characters is a great way to continue on the series. The author really nails the point of View make you feel like we're right back in the middle of the Neptuniverse (Is that a thing? I making that a thing.) however if you were not already a fan of the show I don't know how much you would enjoy this book.
Am I mistaking, or was this supposed to be released in October?
