fun Fun FUN! Good choice for a holiday gift -- very interactive! You might use it in a story time with a small group of 3s and 4s but it works best for one on one, I think. It could be paired with Ellen Stoll Walsh's "Mouse Paint" or Baker's "White Rabbit's Color Book". Then, of course, get out the finger paints and mix those colors! I did like that the author included what happens when you add white or black to the colors. This is another great, interactive book for ECE readers in the style of Press Here, also by Hervé Tullet. I like this book because it focuses on colors and how they mix together to form other colors, but it is best for a one-on-one read instead of a group read, like Press Here. Also, while it is fabulous, I was more inclined towards Press Here because of its uniqueness, and while this book is great, it no longer has that unique feel of its predecessor.
Do You like book Mix It Up! (2014)?
This was so good. I can't wait to buy it for the library, it will make a fantastic read aloud.

A fun follow up to his "Press Here", this would be a good addition to any family's collection.

5 year old loved this book. 3 year old was less interested. Fun, interactive book.
