Another lovely tale in the Miss Julia series. I so enjoy the characters of Miss Julia and Lillian, it hardly matters that not much happened in this book.Hazel Marie is swamped with twin babies, James falls and is injured, Brother Vern shows up and more. Julia decides to help out with cooking lessons taught by women in the town. Brother Vern is up to no good, and Miss Julia, as always, is part of the resolution. Another funny and exciting book about the adventures and misadventures of Miss Julia, Hazel Marie and her twins, and the colorful cast of characters. James breaks a bone and can't cook so Hazel Marie must learn how to cook and all the recipes are included in the book. Miss Julia gets mistaken for a ghost, Hazel Marie's uncle opens a soup kitchen, and Miss Julia steps into a stake out. What more could happen?
