~WARNING: This book contains rape, abuse, child molestation, cutting and cheating. Contains triggers!!~I give this a 4.5 Star rating. It was a good read! This books is not for the faint of heart. it is brutal and very detailed. I do Not recommend any one under the age of 18 read this book. This is the first book I read by Kathryn Kelly and I will be reading more. She is an intense writer if this book what all of her books are like. I felt for all the characters in the book at one point.Outlaw: Christopher was the MC President after killing the former president of the MC 33 yrs old. Had mood swings like no other, his heart was in the right place, he wanted to protect his family, he honestly has a heart of gold. He is a good guy. I would want him in my corner any day!Meggie: the former MC Presidents daughter who ran away from home, to find her father after being molested by her step father Thomas. 18 yrs oldThis book was full of intense moments, lots of profanity, but it was raw, it was full of emotion, it made you feel. I look forward to reading more in the future. “In each of us lives good and evil. The conundrum we face as a society is recognizing those we pigeonhole as evil and those we applaud as good.” ~ MeggieMeggie has been in hell for years now. Her step-father is an abusive man who she is afraid will eventually kill her and her mother. He not only beats them but he does even worse things. She has had enough. She escapes thinking her father will rescue her. Her Daddy is the President of Death Dwellers MC and she is has run away to find him so he can save her and her mother. She is in for a rude awakening.Christopher is the new President of the Death Dwellers MC and the only one who knows of Meggie’s existence. Her father was his mentor and like a father to him till one day when something horrible happened. Christopher does not need the complications of Meggie and does not want them. Christopher is a real asshole and I had a very hard time liking him at all.I actually had a hard time connecting to Meggie or Christopher. Some of the decisions they made were very confusing to me but I guess since I have never been in situations they were in I don’t know how I would actually react. Meggie is very immature and she tries to act older than her age but her immaturity comes out a lot. Christopher is just a dickhead in my opinion. I had a hard time believing their relationship at times. The storyline was good. It is just hard to truly enjoy a book if you can’t connect with the characters in some way, and that was my biggest concern with this book. I will warn people this book is very raw and graphic and there are a few signs that made me cringe. Overall the book was good.“Good and evil are wrapped in illusions we’re determined to create.” ~ Meggie
