This was a cute quick read with some fun characters and a little sex thrown in as well. Ben character is great. He's been in love/lust with Bea since college and when given the chance to make his move, he turned her down. He's regretted that choice ever since. But in his defense, he had his reasons at the time. Now he's a successful businessman and has thought about Bea often. Bea writes for a sex blog about her opinion on sex books, sex toys, positions and other related topics. When Ben discovers what she does, of course he checks out her blog, and unbeknownst to Bea becomes a huge fan. Now the two are thrown back together for the wedding of her sister to Ben's best friend. And as luck would have it, Bea is on a deadline to write an article about a new sex manual. She just has to find a guy willing to help with the research. How could Ben turn down such a request?Really cute, hot sweet read. I enjoyed this book. Liked the second-chance trope usage and the banter and intimacy between the H/h and the side characters. There was almost a BM but the H handled the whole thing very maturely and the resolution didn't seem too contrived or convenient.Only one thing, though- the sex was so frequent and casual that I found it a bit clinical. Don't get me wrong, I would love to live in the h's world where sex is literally NBD and everyone is so enlightened and non-judgmental and just basically has an awesome, liberal, healthy attitude towards sex. But maybe it was the whole 'let's try out this chapter in the book' thing or whatever but I found the sex a bit cold (although clearly the H/h didn't).That was just a minor quibble though and didn't hinder my enjoyment of the book one bit. And it might just be me, but I LOVED how non-hetero-confined the H/h were, like with his college bi phase and her trying out toys on women where necessary. So yeah, I just ended up really wanting to live in that world where sex is just sex, and comes with no strings or baggage or judgment, and everyone's completely comfortable talking about ti in any capacity. A tad unrealistic, sure, but still vastly enjoyable.
