Evan's one of those kids who went through the system and saw it all. Her last stop on the foster train just so happened to be Jace's home. She lived with his family for a year. Everything was looking up for her, until her and Jace slept together and his parents found them in bed. Jace was kicked out of the house and Evan ran away, never to be heard from again. Now, 12 years later, their paths cross again and the attraction is still there. Only, she's promised her loyalty to the boy who saved her on the streets. The same guy who is well known for his marriage advice as well as his exuberant relationship with his fiance, Evan.This is a great addition to Loving on the Edge. There's conflict all around when it comes to the main characters. Not only is Evan engaged to her gay best friend to keep that perfect image alive for his career but Jace is still torn up over his brutal divorce with his wife, who's still sucking him dry. Add on top of that his friend, Andre, and menage partner who's secretly been holding a torch for him, and you have drama bombs blowing up everywhere.Yeah, there's a lot that goes on in this story without even talking about all the amazingly steamy scenes. Which by the way, were fan-yourself hot. Roni definitely knows how to write a behind closed doors scene and make the reader feel like they were there. No I take that back, you feel like you were THEM in that scene. Yup, the woman knows how to write.The characters had their flaws and I think that was what really the beautiful part of this story. It wasn't just one dimensional problems either. There was more than meets the eye with these characters. My only complaint is the whole baby thing. It felt disconnected to the story. The author brings it up like it's going to be something big with the story and all it does is just add unnecessary drama to an already amazing story. I think the whole thing could have been taken out completely since it didn't seem to add a purpose to the story.Favorite quote..."Can't be worthless if you don't seek anyone else's approval. SHE S A LUCKY GURL IN A WAY... SHE FOUND 2 guys who CARE ABOUT HER! THIS RANCH ....HOLY MOTHER OF GOD...
