This novel didn't grab me in the same way His Secretary did. Initially I was pleased with the direction of the story but it never progressed the way it did so easily in His Secretary. Where it was strongest in that series it lacked in this one.I couldn't wait to reach that plateau, the one I expected but I never got it--well sort of. When I did get what I expected it seemed abrupt. I thought I missed a couple of pages and I had to check twice which kind of ruined the entire story for me.The story was enjoyable but it didn't have spark or fire, it was pretty singular, and it felt flat. I'm not sure that I want to continue with this series because I have to admit I'm a little disappointed. This story was a bit disjointed ... the potential was there ... but the author dropped-the-ball. What did Maddy and Daniel look like? I think Daniel had green eyes - but I'm not even sure of that. I've NEVER read a book where the author did not take the time to describe what the main characters looked like. Blonde? Brunette? Bald? Tall? Short? Thin? Fat? It is extremely difficult to read a romantic love story (this book didn't really meet that criteria for me) where you can't imagine in your mind what the couple looks like. Don't most authors have an editor? If so, shouldn't said editor have noticed there was no description as to what the couple looked like? *SPOILER ALERT* I really didn't feel any chemistry between Maddy and Daniel. After the marriage he was all over her one minute and then for some unknown reason didn't want to be with her in bed. That part didn't make sense to me. Then his bedroom games were a bit much ... I didn't see a warning about that but maybe I missed it. Glad it was Free!
Do You like book Me Casé Con Un Millonario (2000)?
okay for a free book but the story was quite predictable and the end felt really rushed
