Honestly when I heard about this book I got a little upset. Don't get me wrong, I'm a die hard Maximum Ride fan, I just feel like I'm growing out of it and its been a while since Nevermore came out. I was seven when The Angel Experiment came out and I remember my grandmother buying it for me (she has quite the obsession with James Patterson herself). With that said, I've been reading this series for almost a decade (will be a decade when this book comes out) and I guess I'm losing an interest in it. It also upsets me, one, because he said Nevermore was the last book, but also because i remember in 2008 (or 2010???) when he first sold the movie rights I waited patiently for about three years and then it just kept getting pushed back, and back. Now that he's announced that it will only be a youtube web series, I'm extremely disappointed, and feel like it could've done so much more in the theaters. Wow, just wow. As much as I both loved & hated how the last-last book turned out (Loved, because fang & max & kinda the world at the end, hated, because of well.. Everything else), I'm amazed at how excited I am about this!At the same time, I'm not surprised though.I mean, more Max!? And Fang?! The forever awesome flock?! I'm so freakin' ecstatic I can't even put it into words. Hopefully Patterson will fix this. (Please, please don't turn it into a jumble like the last book!!)I was about, 12 I think when I first started reading this. Now as an 22 year old adult, physically, if not mentally I'm dammed well re-reading the whole series, which I kept of course, & looking forwards to this!I really do still love Max, even if Patterson made her a little misguided with that whole Dillan lark and such. I also love Fang, I'll always love Fang. My first book love.Sigh. Rambling, I know. But you would not believe my excitement, I think my heart actually stopped for a moment, when I saw an email in my inbox with the title 'Max Is Back'.There's never been another heroine and co. that I've loved quite like the Flock.
Do You like book Maximum Ride Forever (2000)?
I LOVE THIS SERIES. I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS ONE MORE. NOW THE LAST ONE WILL ACTUALLY MAKE SENSE.
