I read this book over Memorial Weekend. I was immediately drawn in to Margaret's world. This is a thought provoking story that keeps your mind engaged and your heart torn between reality and morality, between what was and what is, and accepting the sweet moments life has to offer right now. I found myself asking what I would do in Margaret's situation and thanking God that I don't have to make that decision...today. This was another good read. I liked two out of the three books that I borrowed from the Library. It was a great day. This is an interesting book about morals, ethics and war. It is a serious look at an increasing dilemma for wounded veterans and their families. The story was told with great compassion for all of the characters.It definitely made me think about what I might have done in a similar situation.
